The European University Institute (EUI) in Florence (Italy) has opened the call for applications to the 7th edition of ENTraNCE for Judges. The training programme for national judges in competition law and economics is co-funded by DG Competition of the European Commission. The focus of the 7th edition is on the role of national courts in State aid proceedings.

The programme is open to 52 judges from all EU Member States (except UK and Denmark). Travel and accomodation costs in Florence for the selected participants are covered by the budget of the project.

31 May 2016 - During its meeting in Prague, the General Assembly of the ACA brought to his presidency for two years the vice-president of the Dutch Council of State, Mr Piet Hein DONNER. Mr Klaus RENNERT, president of the German Federal Administrative Court, was elected to the Board. According to the statutes of Association, Mr Josef BAXA, president of the Czech Supreme Administrative Court, former president of the Association, also became vice-president of the Association.
The General Assembly also re-elected Mr Geert DEBERSAQUES, president of chamber of the Belgian Council of State, as Secretary General.
Mr Giuseppe SEVERINI, section president of the Italian Council of State, was re-elected as auditor.
Mr Jacek CHLEBNY, vice-president and president of the general administrative chamber of the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland, was re-elected as treasurer.

24 June 2015 - Georges Ravarani, President of the Administrative Court of Luxembourg, was elected Judge at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
19 May 2015 - During its meeting in Brno, the General Assembly of ACA-Europe voted the candidacy of the Supreme Court of Cassation of the Republic of Serbia to become an observer. The Court was represented at the General Assembly by Mrs. Ivanović, the President of the Serbian Administrative Court.
